Vista Cay Resort Location
Vista Cay Resort is located just off Universal Blvd in Orlando Florida and is across the street from Shingle Creek Resort, next to the Orlando Convention Center, and is the closest vacation home community to both Seaworld and Universal Studios.
Vista Cay offers two and three-bedroom condos and townhomes in a resort-style setting with free parking and full resort-style community amenities.
In terms of location, Vista Cay is the only community in Orlando that allows short-term rentals. All other communities are located further south in Kissimmee or Davenport which tend to be more congested and lacking in infrastructure when compared to Vista Cay and its immediate surrounding areas.
With the ease of access to express roads and Interstate 4 Vista Cay is the most accessible vacation home community to access major theme parks and Orlando International Airport.
Universal Studios
Vista Cay is the closest location for vacation homes to Universal Orlando at just 4.6 miles. These parks included Islands of Adventure and Harry Potter as well as Universal City Walk.
Airport
In addition, the new section of Universal Orlando – Epic Universe will open in the summer of 2025 is actually across the street from Vista Cay and will be within walking distance.
Vista Cay is the closest and most accessible vacation home community in Orlando to the Orlando International Airport (MCO). The total distance is 12.6 miles and it is mostly express road driving makes it quick and easy.

Convention Center
Vista Cay is located next door to the convention center. We often get asked if it is within walking distance. Although technically it is within walking distance, we recommend taking an Uber or Taxi as the walkways are not complete and the heat of Florida especially in the summer.
Because of the large size of the Orlando Convention Center, the distance varies from half a mile to 1.4 miles (yes the convention center is that big) so you need to know what section of the convention center you will be attending

Disney
Perhaps one the best location features of Vista Cay Resort may not be the closest vacation home community to Disney, but in terms of drive time, it is one the quickest and fastest community locations to get to Disney, Magic Kingdom, Epcot, and Animal Kingdom because of its close proximity to major express toads and interstate I4 and is 8.7 miles to the edge of Disney Springs.

Cocoa Beach Beach
Cocoa Beach is a classic Florida beach and is a very simple drive to get to by car. It is more or less a straight drive down 528 to Cocoa and takes approx 1 hour as the 528 is an express road.
