How Close and convenient is Vista Cay Resort to Magic Kingdom?
Vista Cay Resort in Orlando is located just 15.2 Mi by car from Magic Kingdom in miles it is approximately 15.2 miles one of the biggest key advantages of going to Magic Kingdom from Vista Cay is it the relative ease to get there as it is primarily to get on to Disney property all interstate so you’ll just go West on I-4 and take the Disney exit. So, although it is possible that you might find a vacation home closer to Magic Kingdom in terms of ease of access, Vista Cay, given its location, is one of the easiest and most accessible vacation communities to get to Magic Kingdom. This, in conjunction with Vista Cay Orlando only being 12 minutes from the international airport and just off International Drive, makes its location the best for any vacation home community in our opinion in Central Florida. The problem is that when you stay south of Disney in areas like Kissimmee, Davenport, or Clermont, you will hit heavy travel congestion and inferior infrastructure when it comes to roads & shopping.
What are the transportation options from the Vista Cay Resort to the Magic Kingdom?
When staying at Vista Cay Resort in Orlando, the travel options for visiting Magic Kingdom in Disney World are somewhat Limited as all distances within Central Florida require some form of transportation. We would recommend driving to Disney driving although do bear in mind that at Disney, you do have to pay daily parking, which can currently be around $30 to $35 per day. Alternatively, you can take an Uber from Vista Cay, and they will drop you off at the Rideshare at Magic Kingdom and then pick you up. This might be a little more expensive than parking for the day, but it means you don’t have to worry about driving. Also, on the ride-sharing apps, you can check the prices before you take them to take you to the parks.

Is the Vista Cay Resort a good location for visiting Magic Kingdom?
In our opinion Vista Cay is one of the best locations for visiting Magic Kingdom even though it might be a little further away than some vacation home communities located in the congested areas south in Kissimmee the reason for Vista Cay having a superior location are as proximity as we previously mentioned to the international airport which is just 12 minutes away and also it’s proximity to International Drive and Universal Studios as well as the convention center. Vista Kay is also located in an area that has had a lot more thought put into the development of the surrounding area, and thus looks more pristine and is more tourist-friendly.

Numerous amenities at the Vista Cay Resort in Orlando will help to complement your trip to the Magic Kingdom. First of all, you can walk to the local grocery store, some shops, and restaurants from the resort itself. Also, as these are fully self-catered homes, you can buy groceries and relax and enjoy all the resort-style amenities when you get home from Magic Kingdom and the other theme parks. Also, if you are considering visiting other Parks such as Universal Studios or Epic Universe (which is literally across the street), Vista Cay offers a premium location.
Does Vista Cay Resort offer shuttle services to the Magic Kingdom?
Vista Cay Resort is not a hotel; they are privately owned vacation homes managed professionally by property managers. As a result, there are no shuttle services to the Magic Kingdom. Even if staying at a hotel, we do not generally recommend taking shuttle services to the attractions, as often you have to rely on bus schedules, which can be unreliable, and sometimes the buses get full, meaning you might have to wait for another bus, and given the heat and humidity of Florida, this is not recommended. We recommend driving to the major theme parks or just taking an Uber.
How does the cost of staying at Vista Cay Resort compare to staying on-site at Disney for Magic Kingdom visits?
Staying at Vista Cay Resort in Orlando is generally a lot less expensive than staying on site at a Disney hotel. Another advantage at Vista Cay is that you have all the amenities of home, with separate bedrooms, living rooms, kitchens, and dining rooms, with everything that you would find in your own home within your vacation rental. Most of the hotel rooms at Disney don’t have separate living spaces, and you’re going to be limited to probably two beds and a toilet. So, for the same price or much less in many cases, you would be better off renting a full vacation rental at Vista Cay Resort.
