What are the pool hours at Vista Cay Orlando Resort?

The Vista Cay Resort pool opens from 9:00 AM to Dusk daily. However, hours are subject to change without notice, as well as weather conditions, so be sure to check at the clubhouse before making any plans for the day. Pool hours are at the discretion of the community HOA. 

Where is the pool at Vista Cay located?

There are two pool complexes at Vista Cay Resort. The first pool complex is located in the main clubhouse in Vista Cay, which is located on Cayview Ave. Orlando, FL 32819.  Just enter the clubhouse address in your GPS and follow the walking directions. The second pool area is located on Breakview Drive in Vista Cay Reserve. Your gate codes and pool passes will work for both pool complexes.

There are pool bars at both pool complexes, so please refrain from bringing your own drinks to the pool and buy from the pool bar.

What are the pool bar hours at Vista Cay?

There is a pool bar at the Vista Cay Resort in Orlando. The pool bar offers a variety of drinks, including beer, wine, and cocktails.

The pool bars open most days at Noon and close at dusk, but may change hours based on weather, how busy the pool is, and the discretion of the clubhouse, etc. Be sure to check with the clubhouse on the pool bar hours when you arrive, so you can be sure not to be disappointed. Please do not bring your own drinks to the pool, and no glass.

Is the pool at Vista Cay Resort heated?

Yes, the pool at Vista Cay Resort is heated. The main pool is heated to 89 degrees year-round, so it is always nice and warm for the colder winter days.

Is there a spa / hot tub at Vista Cay?

Vista Cay Resort has two spas / hot tubs, with one at the main clubhouse and one at the Vista Cay Reserve / Cay Commons section behind Publix. The spas are set at a typical spa temperature, and the jets are on timers controlled at the spa by the user. The spas are open the same hours as the pool.

Is there a kiddie pool in Vista Cay Resort?

There is a kiddie pool splash area in the main Vista Cay section at the clubhouse with a mini water slide.  It is a large circle in shape and has pool chairs and pool loungers all around, so parents can watch their kids while playing. There is also a splash pool at the Vista Cay Reserve.

How many pools are there in Vista Cay?

Vista Cay has two main swimming pool complexes with three pools total, two kiddie splash areas, two hot tubs/spas, and one mini waterslide (at the clubhouse). Guests can use either pool complex.

There are two large pools in the Vista Cay Reserve section of the complex behind Publix. This pool area, recently fully updated, also has a bar and tends to be quieter than the main clubhouse pool. There is also a hot tub/spa in the Vista Cay Reserve / Commons section.

Are there pool towels at the Vista Cay Resort Pool?

The pool area at Vista Cay does not provide pool towels, so be sure to bring a pool towel from your home, which is located above the washer and dryer in your unit. All we ask is that you return the towels back to your condo when done.

Are there pool chairs, tables, and loungers at the Vista Cay Resort Pool, and are they free?

All the pool chairs, loungers, and umbrellas at Vista Cay Resort Orlando are free. They are on a first-come, first-served basis and are around every pool and spa.

Is there a bar at the pool in the Vista Cay Resort in Orlando?

Vista Cay Resort does have a pool bar at both pools with a full range of beers, wines, and liquors. Please note the pool bar does not serve in glass containers for safety reasons. You can also get some limited food items. If you wish to enjoy a drink by the pool, out of respect for the pool bar, please do not bring your own drinks. Remember to tip your bartenders well.

Can I grill at the pool at Vista Cay?

You can not grill at the pool at Vista Cay, but there is a community grill area outside the pool area by the basketball court and in the common grass area at Vista Cay Reserve behind Publix. These grills are fixed, use charcoal, and are free to use. Bring your own charcoal and utensils, and strictly follow the safety guidelines.

Can I hold a party at the pool in Vista Cay?

The pool is a community area and open to all guests; as a result, you can not organize private parties, but organized groups can be arranged. Just speak to the pool bar.

Can I walk to the pool from my condo at Vista Cay?

Yes, you can walk to the pool from any condo in Vista Cay. Depending on where your vacation rental is located, once you exit the building, your nearest pool will be anywhere from 1 to 4 minutes in walking distance. There is parking near the main clubhouse, but it is limited, so it is generally better to walk.

How deep is the pool in the Vista Cay Resort?

There are pool markers, so be sure to read them before you get in the pool. There is a shallow end, and for those who can not swim, there is also a kiddie pool.

There are no lifeguards on duty, so you and your family swim at your own risk.
